ARDEMAR is a project that intertwines traditional Portuguese music and experimental electronic music. Based on archived field recordings of polyphonic chants, work songs, traditional instruments and many others, the artists combines and manipulates these works, creating something new through a sound collage, supported by software and top of the edge technology to create unique experiences as interactive installations, sound specialization, audio-reactive visuals, new ways of reproducing sound and also new ways of controlling music, as for example, the detection of movement to control sound parameters.
